Having no idea what day it is. Waking up early. Coffee for pleasure. The warmth of sun on your skin. Mopeds and car rides, landscapes and great music. Seafood. Cold ocean. Late night chats. Linen and light clothes. Lots of seasonal fruit. Al fresco dining and gatherings spilling onto the streets. Always finding grains of sand. How it's light outside for a very long time. The smell of Vacation sunscreen. Picnics from farmers' markets and coastal day trips. A great cocktail. The way the colours come out in film photos. Spontaneous parties with new and old faces. A paperback book. Rarely needing a jacket. Dancing on tabletops. A renewed sense of possibility... Ok, I really love summer.
10am. Sun peeking through the mountains. Espresso in the air. Freshly-pressed Blood Orange. Peaches. Beautiful Conversation. Your heart's warm, knowing there's an entire day ahead of you. An Eternal Summer. Fueled by Helios himself 🌞🍸
A beach, a big bottle of rosé, a bowl of cherries, driving with the top down, wind in the hair, funky beats on the radio. Salty hair, Salt rimmed margaritas, late nights, palm trees.
One perfect part of summer for me is walking home from a night out with my friends and not needing a jacket. Not feeling I need to rush because its so cold. Just leisurely ambling through the streets, its always a strong memory for me every year when it gets warm
Summer thunderstorms. Hot sun on the skin. The sound of cicadas. Lemonade and coconut water. The sudden cool and quiet after diving into a pool. The bitter smell of tomato vine and the explosion of juicy, red fruit. The nights that feel eternal and the faintest of glows that only happens in the night sky in summer.
